Vihang V. Patel, MD

Vihang Patel, MD, is a gastroenterologist who believes in developing a long-term bond with his patients. He is passionate about putting his patients at ease by providing them with information and knowledge so together they can make treatment decisions. Dr. Patel treats many gastroenterology issues and diseases, especially inflammatory bowel diseases and hepatology. His training has provided him with valuable insight regarding these diseases and he strives to translate that to excellent patient care every day.

 

Dr. Patel attended medical school at the American University of Antigua College of Medicine and completed his internal medicine residency training at Mount Carmel Health System in Columbus, OH. He completed an additional gastroenterology fellowship at the University of Kentucky.

 

Outside of his medical practice, Dr. Patel enjoys spending time with his wife traveling, exploring cultures and cuisines, and enjoying the great outdoors. He is also passionate about playing cricket.
