Dr. Al-Azzawi pursued his Internal Medicine Residency at Atlanta Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in Internal Medicine and Hepatology at Virginia Mason Franciscan Health. He further specialized with an additional fellowship in Gastroenterology at West Virginia University School of Medicine.
