About Suresh K. Malhotra, MD, FACP, AGAF
Dr. Malhotra is a graduate of the Armed Forces Medical College, Pune, India. He completed residency training in Internal Medicine at D.C. General Hospital/Georgetown University Medical Program and a fellowship in Gastroenterology at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan.
He has served as the chairman of the Gastroenterology Department at Inova Alexandria Hospital, the president of the Virginia Association of American Physicians of Indian Origin, and as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at Georgetown University. Dr. Malhotra is currently a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and American Gastroenterological Association.
Dr. Malhotra founded Gastroenterology & Hepatology Associates in 1989. Gastroenterology & Hepatology Associates partnered with Gastro Health on June 1, 2021.
Fast Track Screening Colonoscopy
Dr. Malhotra provides a service called Fast Track Colonoscopy, which is a regular colonoscopy that does not require prior consultation before the colonoscopy procedure. Fast Track Colonoscopy saves patients time, money, and minimizes work absences for doctor visits. Fast Track is for adults 45 or older with an average risk for colorectal cancer that do not have any existing GI symptoms.
