About Peter D. Dryer, MD

Dr. Peter Dryer is a local Cincinnatian who graduated from St. Xavier High School. He received a degree in biology with honors at Cornell University and his Doctorate of Medicine at University of Toledo College of Medicine. He earned his Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology board certifications at University of Cincinnati.

Dr. Dryer has a passion for general GI and general hepatology, including esophageal diseases, small bowel diseases, colon cancer prevention and inflammatory bowel disease. He seeks collaboration with physicians across specialties to enhance patient care and is actively involved in teaching medical residents. Dr. Dryer is an active member of the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Gastroenterological Association and the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. He served on several hospital committees, including nutrition and physician informatics at Trihealth. These passions have been recognized by medical peers who have voted for him as a "Top Doc" in Cincinnati Magazine, year after year.

Outside of the workplace, he enjoys time with his wife Amy and four sons, Noah, Elijah, Isaac and Luke.
