About Kenneth M. Sigman, MD
Dr. Sigman joined Gastro Health in November 2018. Dr. Sigman currently practices advanced endoscopy at Grandview Medical Center where he serves as the Chief of the Division of Gastroenterology. At Grandview, Dr. Sigman performs Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS), Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), Double Balloon Enteroscopy, and endoscopic stent placement of the GI tract.
Dr. Sigman attended Miami University for undergraduate education and obtained his medical degree from Ohio State University. He also completed his medicine residency and Gastroenterology Fellowship at Ohio State University.
Dr. Sigman has lived and practiced in Birmingham for 27 years. He has hosted multiple conferences in Birmingham with nationally recognized faculty in advanced endoscopy and is a frequent speaker at GI conferences and seminars as an expert in Biliary and Pancreatic endoscopy.
Dr Sigman is a member of the American Gastroenterology Association, the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, the American College of Gastroenterology, the American College of Physicians, the American Pancreatic Association, and is Vice President of the Alabama Gastroenterology Society.
In his spare time, Dr Sigman enjoys golf and swimming. He recently earned his private pilot’s license and enjoys flying around the Southeast.
