About Ariel B. Sims, MD, MS

Ariel B. Sims, MD is a gastroenterologist in Miami, FL. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from The College of William and Mary and her Master of Science in Physiology and Biophysics from Georgetown University. Dr. Sims received her Doctor of Medicine from The University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences, where she was recognized with the Diversity and Inclusion Award. She completed her Internal Medicine Residency at Cleveland Clinic Foundation and her Gastroenterology Fellowship at The University of Chicago, where she also served as a Research Assistant in the Section of Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition.

Dr. Sims is an active member of several professional organizations, including the American College of Gastroenterology (ACG), the American Gastroenterological Association (AGA), the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE), and the American Neurogastroenterology and Motility Society (AMNS).
