Care Philosophy
To me, healthcare is a partnership. I am dedicated to helping my patients achieve their best health so they can live more meaningful lives. Having a husband who serves as a Naval Officer also gives me a unique perspective and a special commitment to caring for those who serve our country.
About Amanda N. Lawton, APRN
Amanda Lawton is a board-certified Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner originally from Upstate New York. She graduated summa cum laude from Boston College, where she earned both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and her Master of Science in Nursing.
Amanda first developed an interest in gastroenterology during a clinical rotation in bariatric surgery. Before relocating to Virginia, she practiced as a Nurse Practitioner for several years at a large gastroenterology group in Albany, NY.
