About Shelini R. Sooklal, MD
Dr. Shelini Sooklal is a gastroenterologist serving patients in Edmonds, WA. She received her M.B.B.S. (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) from the University of the West Indies. Dr. Sooklal completed her Internal Medicine Residency at Easton Hospital, followed by her Gastroenterology and Hepatology Fellowship at Drexel University College of Medicine, where she served as Chief Fellow. She then completed her Advanced Endoscopy Fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation.
In addition to her clinical expertise, Dr. Sooklal is an active member of several prominent medical organizations, including the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE), the American Gastroenterological Association (AGA), American College of Gastroenterology (ACG), and the Pacific Northwest Gastroenterology Society.
