About Lindsay South Robison, MD

Dr. Robison joined Gastro Health in September 2011 and practices at our Brookwood care center.

She obtained her undergraduate degree from Washington and Lee University and her medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine. She performed her internship, residency, and gastroenterology fellowship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She has special interests in women’s health and inflammatory bowel disease. She was the recipient of a 2010 GI Fellows’ Research Award in Inflammatory Bowel Disease to study family planning issues in patients with inflammatory bowel disease.  She also has interests in esophageal diseases, celiac disease, and colon cancer screening.  Dr. Robison is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.

Dr. Robison is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Gastroenterological Society, the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, and the Alabama Gastroenterological Society.  She also enjoys travel, being outdoors, and spending time with her husband and two children.
