About Brent N. Barranco, MD
Dr. Barranco joined Gastro Health in July 2003 and practices at our Brookwood and Prattville care centers. He obtained his undergraduate degree from Auburn University and his medical degree from Tulane University. His internship, residency and fellowship were all performed at the University of Alabama at Birmingham Hospital. Dr. Barranco is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.
Dr. Barranco is a member of the American College of Physicians, American College of Gastroenterology, American Gastroenterological Association, and the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, and the Alabama Gastroenterological Society.
