David E. Long, DO

Dr. David Long is a gastroenterologist dedicated to providing exceptional, patient-centered care to the Lima, Ohio community. He specializes in diagnosing and treating a wide array of gastrointestinal and digestive disorders, combining advanced clinical expertise with a highly personalized approach to every patient's healthcare journey.

Dr. Long’s education began at the University of Toledo, where he graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry. He went on to earn his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine. Following medical school, Dr. Long completed his postgraduate training at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. There, he completed both his Internal Medicine Residency, distinguishing himself as Chief Resident, and his specialized Gastroenterology Fellowship.
