About Antonette S. Kanu, CRNP

Antonette Kanu, MSN, FNP-BC, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over four years of outpatient primary and urgent care experience and more than 12 years of nursing experience in oncology, medical-surgical, wound care, and step-down telemetry. Born in Sierra Leone, she moved to the United States at age 13 and attended Orange Park High School, where she became actively involved with Amnesty International, advocating for people facing injustice worldwide.

She earned both her BSN and MSN (Family Nurse Practitioner) from Kent State University and completed her training while working at Cleveland Clinic. Her clinical background also includes oncology nursing at Mercy Medical Center, as well as medical-surgical and oncology care at Holy Cross Hospital. Antonette focuses on family medicine, urgent care, and chronic disease management. She holds national board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
