About Gail M. Herzig, MD

Dr. Gail Herzig has more than 30 years of medical training and experience. She received her medical degree from Albany Medical College in 1988 and completed her internal medicine residency and gastroenterology fellowship at Beth Istrael Deaconess Medical Center. She has also trained at Harvard and Dartmouth Universities. She is board certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine and specializes in functional bowel disorders.

She has won a few awards over the years, most notably the recognition of one of Castle Connolly’s Top Doctors and one of Boston Magazine’s “Top Doctors”.
