About Molly C. McVey, MD
Dr. McVey joined Gastro Health in August 2017 and practices at our Grandview and Prattville care centers. She obtained her undergraduate and medical degree from the University of Mississippi. Dr. McVey then completed her internship, residency and chief residency in Internal Medicine at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC). She remained at MUSC to complete her fellowship in gastroenterology. She is board certified in Internal Medicine and in Gastroenterology. Dr. McVey’s interests include inflammatory bowel disease, irritable bowel disease, liver disease, chronic HCV and colorectal cancer. She is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, American Gastroenterological Association, American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and the Alabama Gastroenterological Society.
Dr. McVey enjoys traveling, cooking, exercising and spending time with her husband and their puppy Tuck. She is involved with international medical missions and hopes to continue this throughout her practice.
