About Diego A. Gomez, MD
Dr. Diego A. Gomez joined our team in 2001. He graduated in 1988 from the Eastern Virginia University School of Medicine. Dr. Gomez then completed his internal medicine residency training at the Medical College of Virginia in 1991. During his residency, he received a research award from the American College of Physicians. In 1993, he completed his gastroenterology fellowship at Medical College of Virginia.
Dr. Gomez returned to Virginia after practicing for 8 years at the Greenbrier Valley Medical Center in Ronceverte, WV. He has published in the field of clinical hepatology. Dr. Gomez is board certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology.
