About Kai Y. Ha, MD
Dr. Kai Ha received his undergraduate degree from Syracuse University. He attended medical school at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University. He went on to complete his residency in internal medicine at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center and completed his gastroenterology fellowship at the University of Cincinnati. He received an award for outstanding care of patients during his residency including the development of a hospital wide electronic medical alert system improving the care of patients with inflammatory bowel disease. He practices gastroenterology and hepatology with a special interest in colorectal cancer screening, eosinophilic esophagitis, inflammatory bowel disease, irritable bowel syndrome, and general gastroenterology. Outside of practicing medicine, Dr. Ha enjoys spending time with his wife, traveling both locally and internationally searching out great food and scenery.
