Jorge T. Go, MD

Dr. Jorge Go did his undergraduate and medical studies at the University of the Philippines, graduating with honors at both times. He then completed his internal medicine residency at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio. Shortly thereafter, he did a research fellowship (VA Quality Scholars) at the Iowa City VA and the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, where he also received a Masters degree in Clinical Investigation. He subsequently finished his gastroenterology fellowship at the University of Iowa, where he was one of the chief fellows during his final year. He is board certified in both internal medicine and gastroenterology. He practices general gastroenterology and hepatology, with special interests in gastrointestinal motility and functional bowel disorders such as irritable bowel syndrome and anorectal dysfunction. He is an active member of the American College of Gastroenterology (ACG), American Gastroenterological association (AGA) and the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE). When is off work, he loves to travel with his wife and 2 children.
