Alex P. Pavidapha, MD

Dr. Alex Pavidapha is a Board-Certified Vascular and Interventional Radiologist at the Hemorrhoids Centers in Falls Church, Virginia. He graduated from Ross University School of Medicine before completing residency at University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Diagnostic Radiology with Early Specialization in Interventional Radiology designation.

 

During his residency, he was selected as Chief Resident and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical honor society. Dr. Pavidapha completed his subspecialty training in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at the University of Massachusetts.

Hemorrhoid embolization is an interventional radiology treatment for internal hemorrhoids that offers long-lasting relief from rectal bleeding. Hemorrhoids form when abnormal connections are made between arteries and veins in the rectum. Embolization works by blocking these abnormal blood vessel connections, which eliminates the bleeding.
