Alan Oliver has been named Chief Executive Officer for Gastro Health, a leading national medical group specializing in digestive and liver health.

 

Alan has been serving as Interim CEO & Chief Operating Officer since May 2024. Alan joined Gastro Health in May 2022 as Chief Operating Officer, having previously served for 22 years at Mednax, where he held roles including serving as Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer, Chief Administrative Officer, and President of their national medical group.

 

Over the past two and a half years, Alan has overseen key aspects of business operations and optimization strategies, while also setting strategies to fuel organic growth.

Alan graduated Summa Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in business administration in accounting from Temple University and a master’s degree in accounting and finance with a minor in health services administration from Nova Southeastern University. His professional affiliations include memberships within the Florida Hospital Association Political Action Committee, American College of Healthcare Executives, and Healthcare Financial Management Association.

 

Gastro Health has a presence in seven states – Florida, Alabama, Washington, Virginia, Ohio, Maryland, and Massachusetts – with over 400 physicians and 150 locations consisting of medical offices, infusion centers, imaging services, and a specialty pharmacy. Additionally, Gastro Health owns and operates endoscopy centers in five of the seven states and operates pathology and anesthesia services.
