About Daniel J. Waintraub, MD

Daniel Waintraub, MD is a physician board-certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine. Originally from New Jersey, he earned his undergraduate degree in biology from Yeshiva University with the distinctive honor of Summa Cum Lauda. He received his medical degree from New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York. He went on to complete his internal medicine residency at Mount Sinai Beth Israel in New York City. Subsequently he worked as an attending hospitalist at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, New York. He then completed a gastroenterology fellowship at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. He has a special interest and expertise in advanced endoscopy techniques, hemorrhoid management, liver disease, inflammatory bowel disease, irritable bowel syndrome and esophageal disorders. Dr. Waintraub and his wife, a board certified dermatologist, live in Boca Raton with their three children.
