Dr. James Leavitt joined Joany Meurice and Katie Keohane from The Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation at the 2019 Take Steps Miami Award Luncheon. This year’s walk raised $138,622 to continue helping IBD patients with education and support as well as supporting research to find a cure.
The Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation is a volunteer-driven non-profit organization dedicated to finding cures for Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. Additionally, the organization strides to improve the quality of life of children and adults affected by these digestive diseases.
