Day Before Procedure

One to two days before your procedure, a member of the nursing staff will contact you to verify the time of your procedure. It is important to let the center know if you have been experiencing any changes to your health. This includes fever, headaches, flu-like symptoms, etc.

For individuals taking medications such as blood thinners, diabetic medications, etc. please consult with your individual physician(s) for instructions.

After Procedure

Your doctor will provide specific instructions for care while recovering at home. In the event of difficulty, please call your doctor. For the first 24 hours following procedure, do not engage in strenuous activities, do not drink any alcoholic beverages, drive, or make any critical decisions. A nurse will call you within a day or two to evaluate how you are recovering at home.
