Carl Wheeler, DNP, CRNP

Carl Wheeler, DNP, CRNP, is a nurse practitioner with over 20 years of experience in the field of gastroenterology. He helps patients manage various gastroenterological conditions that have an impact on their daily lives. 

Carl is a graduate of Howard University’s Family Nurse Practitioner program and completed his doctorate at the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa. He served as an Army officer and later as a Lieutenant Commander in the Naval Reserves. 

He has experience working in many settings in gastroenterology. He has worked as a nurse practitioner in Johns Hopkins Department of Gastroenterology and Walter Reed’s GI clinic. He has also worked in private practice.

Carl has lived in Annapolis for over 25 years. He enjoys working with the exceptional staff at Gastro Health to improve patients’ lives in the community and surrounding area.
