Alana is originally from New Jersey. She completed a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from West Chester University. She later completed a Master of Science in Nursing from Monmouth University and is certified as an Adult Nurse Practitioner. She relocated to Maryland after being chosen to complete a 1-year Nurse Practitioner Fellowship in hepatology through Johns Hopkins School of Medicine.
Alana has been working in private practice since 2011 and has been with Gastro Health in Catonsville since 2015. She has spent most of her time seeing patients with hepatitis B, hepatitis C, fatty liver disease, elevated liver enzymes, and cirrhosis. She also sees general gastroenterology patients as well.
