Gastro Health, a leading medical group specializing in digestive health, has partnered with Ohio Gastroenterology & Liver Institute (Ohio GI), a gastroenterology group based in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Ohio GI’s group of 22 physicians and 2 physician assistants specialize in gastroenterology and hepatology. As a leader in the market, the practice’s physicians hold key leadership roles in area hospital systems and influential GI organizations, allowing them to stay at the forefront of new and innovative treatment options and deliver an unparalleled quality of care to patients. The partnership additionally includes Ohio GI’s three ambulatory surgery centers located in Norwood, Liberty and Downtown Cincinnati.

With the partnership, Dr. Bekal will serve as Vice President of Clinical Affairs, Ohio, and Daniel Walker, Ohio GI’s Chief Operating Officer, will continue to manage the practice’s operations as he assumes the new role of Division Vice President of Ohio.
Coker Capital served as the exclusive financial advisor to Ohio Gastroenterology & Liver Institute. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
