About Ronald J. Barkin, MD
Dr. Barkin earned his BS in Biochemistry from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. He attended medical school at New York University and completed internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Yale University/Greenwich Hospital. He did a fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Georgetown University. Dr. Barkin has recently served as the Chief of Medicine at Inova Alexandria Hospital.
Dr. Barkin joined Gastroenterology & Hepatology Associates in 1992. Gastroenterology & Hepatology Associates partnered with Gastro Health on June 1, 2021.
