Arpan H. Patel, MD

Arpan H. Patel, M.D., joined our team July 2020. We are proud to have him caring for our patients as he has a long list of accolades and expert training in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.

Dr. Patel received his Medical Doctorate from Northwestern University, Feinberg School of Medicine of Chicago in 2012. He then went to the University of Virginia Health System and University of Michigan Health Systems where he completed his residency in 2015.

Dr. Patel is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in both Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. He completed his fellowship at Michigan Health System’s Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology in 2018. He then continued to serve as an advanced endoscopy fellow and clinical lecturer until 2019.

Dr. Patel is a member of a wide range of professional societies, including the American College of Physicians, Society of Hospital Medicine, Society of General Medicine, the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases, and the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. He has also served as the president of the American Medical Association’s Northwestern University Chapter as well as a liaison to the Chicago Medical Society.

Dr. Patel was born in New Jersey and is happily married with one daughter. He enjoys time with his family and his hobbies include bike riding, watching movies, and playing both board games and video games.
