This revision will tighten the outlet originally made in the gastric bypass, which will help patient feel fuller more quickly while eating.

You will be given specific instructions to prepare for your Revision of Roux-en-Y Gastric Bypass. Your physician may request that you don’t eat or drink after midnight on the day of your procedure. 

During your procedure, the physician will use an endoscopic suturing toll to tighten and restore the stomach pouch and outlet to an original or smaller size.
