About James S. Leavitt, MD, FACG

Dr. James Leavitt is the Director of Clinical Quality and Outcomes for Gastro Health, working as the physician lead for the purposes of improved patient outcomes and research. Over his many years of service to the organization, he has held the titles of President and Chief Clinical Officer. As a founding physician of Gastro Health, Dr. Leavitt has been instrumental in growing the organization from the original four physician practice to the current multistate gastrointestinal platform. He has been in private practice in Miami since 1980.
