About Atul V. Marathe, MD, FACP
Dr. Marathe grew up in Gaithersburg, MD. He majored in Biomedical Engineering at Virginia Tech. Then received his M.D. at the Howard University College of Medicine where he was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha (the national medical honor society). Dr. Marathe completed his Internal Medicine Residency and Gastroenterology Fellowship at Emory University in Atlanta. While at Emory, he was honored with the Resident Teaching Award. Dr. Marathe is board certified in gastroenterology.
